Position:  12 Rails Developers

Location: REMOTE (based out of Portland, OR)
Duration:  12 to 24+ Months

 

 

Description:

-  Develop open source, Ruby on Rails applications

-  Develop software using lean and agile software development methodologies.

Experience:

-  Ruby on Rails

-  JavaScript

-  MySQL

-  Linux

-  TDD

-  RSpec, Cucumber, Factory Girl (and earlier, fixtures and Rails controller, view, and integration specs) to do test driven development.

-  Selenium (standalone and later with Cucumber) to drive browser-based user acceptance tests.

-  Prototype, Scriptaculous, jQuery for adding Ajax functionality to the application.

-  JMeter, ruby-prof, sql-logging gem to benchmark, profile, and optimize the application.

-  Atlassian Confluence and its APInd

-  Gems and plugins
